The Literacy Center is partnering with several businesses and organizations in West Michigan to provide English as a Second Language (ESL) training for its employees.

"Our workplace English program is truly adapted to meet the needs of each organization. By improving employees’ literacy skills in the workplace, employers are filling talent gaps while strengthening companywide culture and efficiencies, increasing safety and reducing costly employee turnover,” said construction_workers_copy.pngWendy Falb, Ph.D., executive director of the Literacy Center of West Michigan.

The on-site classes offered at Spectrum will be focused specfically on giving employees personal and professional development opportunities.

We provide trainings "focused on the use of English in the workplace, personalized Spanish instruction for midlevel staff, accent modification coaching and a seminar to educate English-speaking employees on how to effectively communicate with nonnative English-speaking employees."
