Meet Family Literacy Instructor Megan Bowers
About Me: My name is Megan Bowers, and I'm excited for my first year teaching in the Family Literacy Program. I grew up in Grand Haven, Michigan and graduated from Grand Valley State University with my Bachelor's in secondary English education and ESL.
Hobbies: I love traveling, and spent last year teaching in Madrid, Spain. My hobbies include crafting decorations for my home and taking care of my cat, Primrose.
My favorite parts of the job/what I look forward to: In class, I enjoy getting to know my students and learning more about their home countries and unique backgrounds. I'm very excited to practice my Spanish some more as I help my students learn English.
