Give Today

Literacy and language acquisition is hard work. But our learners know it is foundational to the lives they want to lead. Your gift provides the literacy resources, instruction, support, and that learners need to unlock their future.

Whether you make a gift of $100, $500, or $1,500, your contribution makes literacy programming possible, FREE of charge, for every learner. Thank you for recognizing the importance of literacy.

The Literacy Center's free classes and programs provide a foundation for success, , not only for the 1,300 adult learners we serve each year, but also for their families, their workplaces, and our community.

In Kent County alone, more than 85,000 adults lack the literacy and language skills needed to reach their professional goals, help their children with homework, or engage in the community. With your support, the Literacy Center can help meet our region’s growing need for adult education opportunities.
