We’re so grateful to Fox 17 for sharing Lesvia's journey at the Literacy Center!
From learning to advocate for her children and becoming a U.S. citizen to building her employment skills, Lesvia’s opportunities have grown alongside her English proficiency.
When Lesvia first arrived, she needed to support herself. Today, she’s helping others and serving as an inspiration to her family and the wider community. Her journey is a powerful reminder that literacy and lifelong learning can open doors, build confidence, and create lasting change.
