The Literacy Center of West Michigan holds four events annually: Spellebration, Wine & Words, Luncheon for Literacy and the Community Literacy Summit.

The Literacy Center of West Michigan will host its Community Literacy Summit on Friday, February 28, 2020 from 7:30 am - 2:00 pm. This year's event will focus on the development of language and literacy skills in young children birth to age five, specifically those that lead to kindergarten readiness and grade level reading success.

Join us for the Literacy Center's 27th Annual Spellebration event. This year's event will honor Mark Peters, President and CEO of Butterball Farms, Inc., with the Champion of Literacy Award, Tommy Allen, Publisher of Rapid Growth and Social Practice Artist, with the Ledy Award for Community Engagement, and Marielle Levert, Literacy Center Tutor, with the Volunteer of the Year Award.
